"We saw the decision to force consumers to a new website with a new, hokey name as likely hastening the decline of DVD by mail, still used by 14 million of Netflix's 24 million subscribers," Crockett wrote. "So, clearly, abandoning the name change is positive." The afterparty was at the Empire Hotel, where guests wandered the open-air rooftop restaurant sipping a novelty cocktail, appropriately called, given the movie they'd just seen, Bitter and Twisted (grapefruit/vodka/bitters). Since the movie is all about Freud, Jung, and Jung's patient-mistress Sabina Spielrein, everyone involved with "A Dangerous Method" was more than willing to talk psychoanalysis. Fassbender, thinking back to his previous movie assignment "X-Men," thought his Magneto wouldn't say anything on the couch. "He'd just start playing with those little metal ball assemblies that everyone has." Regarding Jung, "I'd want to talk to him about his sex with Sabina," Cronenberg said. 'Super Troopers' Duo Sell Comedy to NBC

The network has picked up a comedy project titled Kept Men from Super Troopers writer-actors Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme. The project, from 3 Arts and Universal TV, revolves around two friends who become supported by their respective wives after their business closes down. In addition to writing and starring in the project, Heffernan and Lemme would also serve as executive producers. Sources say the comedy could wind up being either a single- or multi-camera project. Beyond writing and starring in Super Troopers the duo's credits also include Beerfest and Club Dread, and have a number of features in development through their Broken Lizard single.
