Hot In Cleveland Hot in Cleveland's latest stunt reunites Wendie Malick with Laura San Giacomo, her costar from NBC's Just Shoot Me! Laura guest stars around the December 14 episode from the TV Land hit, but many of her moments are with Valerie Bertinelli's Melanie. "I play Valerie's [estranged] sister, Caroline," states Laura. Caroline discloses she's a lesbian associated with a personality performed by Sandra Bernhard. Works out ex-cleaning soap star Victoria (Wendie) is pretending to become gay after her fake marriage to Pleasure (Jane Leeves) reignites her celebrity. "They are all only at that lesbian event where I'm, and therein lies the hilarity," adds Laura. But Wendie states the episode also offers a significant message. "Laura includes a fabulous scene speaking about becoming an adult gay and the inability to inform your family," she states. "It will earn her a GLAAD Award nomination."
