Scary monsters and nice sprites by skrillex is a remix of what song?

It may actually not be a remix, but thats not quite what I am after
anyway.

The singer int he song sings this really awesome bit and then it
descends into that bzzzt crap (dont get me wrong, I love techno) But
just as that song goes into the climax, Skrillex butchers it.

What I am asking is: Does that part of the song belong to an original
"fuller" song? If so, does anyone know where I can find it?
